Nico Reuter
I am Nico Reuter, born in 1976, father of four and someone who has been working on creative projects since his teenage years.
Many things started on the C64: programming games, experimenting with demo effects and making things work that had previously only existed as ideas. Later, I spent several years building my own Linux distribution, SAM Linux.
Game design has also been with me for a long time – in 2002 I published my first self-published game, Scarab.
I often have new ideas and enjoy turning them into something real. Sometimes that becomes a game, sometimes a puzzle, a book, a photograph, music, a trick or a technical experiment. At the moment, card games and puzzle books are the main focus – including Dragons!, Straight Up and Sumtris.
I am also interested in magic, mentalism, photography and music because each of them plays with perception, structure, rhythm and surprise in its own way. This website is my personal project space: alive, growing and hopefully a little bit curiosity-provoking.
